Hopkinton is a southwestern Rhode Island town, stretching along the eastern Connecticut border. A community full of forests, state parks, and management areas, with quick access to southeastern Connecticut. Rich in Indian Tribal history their presence still remains in many artifacts, the Indian Rock Shelters, Indian Signal Rocks, and many more. A criss-crossed river community including the Wood River, Brushy Brook, Conochet River, Ashawog River, and the Pawcatuck River, there are plenty of great kayaking areas available to the public. For avid fisherman and camping enthusiasts, there are many wonderful camping locations along these rivers during the summer months.
